First Surface VS. Second Surface

When it comes to the use of applied vinyl on signs, a common question we will ask our customers, when designing a sign for them is whether they prefer the vinyl to be applied to first surface or second surface. This refers to whether the vinyl will be cut then applied to the front of the sign, or if the vinyl will be reversed and applied to the back on the sign, allowing it to show through the other side. This nonsmoking sign uses vinyl applied to the second surface. By having the vinyl applied to the back of the sign, it adds protection to the vinyl to minimize vandalism and prevent wear and tear over time.
